About

A North Dakotans Dream.

As a child growing up in southwestern North Dakota, I knew the area wasn’t a stranger to dangerous thunderstorms. Some of my earliest memories are of my dad and I enjoying the views of severe storms as they would pass through Stark County during the summer months. I remember witnessing at a young age, clouds swirling around the sky like someone was stirring them from above. Thats when it all started…

Dad would have the radio dialed into the local oldies station. We would listen to the sounds of rumbling thunder mixed with Sly and Family Stone, James Brown and the occasional wx bulletin. Powerfully charged lightning would illuminate the night SKY. I was hooked. This passion for weather only grew with age, and by the time I received my drivers license I was on the road with any local severe threat. School and life would put a pause to the passion, but by the time I settled in to my career in healthcare the ITCH had returned. I credit all the great content creators before me. The early chasers and the inspiration that came from their chase logs, pictures and video. They fueled this dream. I am learning with every breath. Heres to many more miles on the road.
